ML20MnTiB Cold Heading Steel Wire Rod

ML20MnTiB is a high-performance alloy structural steel for cold heading supplied by Wongsteel (Beijing Yijing Technology), complying with the national standard GB/T 6478. It is the core special steel for producing Grade 10.9 and above high-strength fasteners, with specifications covering the full series of 6.5-28mm wire rods, meeting the processing needs of different fasteners.

Through precise alloy composition design, the steel is added with micro-alloy elements such as manganese, titanium and boron, achieving excellent comprehensive performance: stable and controllable composition, low content of harmful impurities, high steel purity; small decarburization layer thickness, few surface defects, ensuring the mechanical properties and surface quality of fasteners from the source; low original hardness of wire rod, excellent cold heading forming performance, extremely low cold heading cracking rate, greatly improving production yield; after quenching and tempering heat treatment, it can obtain a perfect match of ultra-high strength and good toughness, with excellent hardenability, meeting the overall hardening requirements of large-size fasteners. The finished fasteners can reach Grade 8.8 and above performance levels, and are optimally suitable for Grade 10.9 high-strength standard parts.
